We
knew going in, that "Star Trek Into Darkness" was going to be a hard
day of work not just because of the time put in but the sun. Forecast
called for 90+ weather that day and they were sure right. We luckily
got to the premiere earlier enough to predict the right spot to stand
though...
The first person to
arrive was the original Mr. Spock, Leonard Nimoy. Leonard is 82 now so
there was little hope of him walking over to the 10,000 screaming Star
Trek Fans but sure enough, he kissed his wife and walked right over to
us and began signing. It wasn't long before he got a bit overwhelmed
and stopped though…

He was soon followed
for the film's director, JJ Abrams who recently took over the Star Wars
franchise from George Lucas. JJ has always been a class act when it
comes to signing, taking the time to walk down the entire boulevard.

Another familiar Star
Trek face arrived, Jennifer Morrison who played Winona Kirk (Kirk's mom)
in the first film. Another classy celebrity, Jennifer worked her way
down the barricade for a few minutes.

Bruce Greenwood arrived next and also came over to us to sign. It sure looks like the entire cast is going to sign!

Peter Weller, the original "Robocop" who is also in the movie came right over and signed a few autographs.

The crowd when crazy
when Chris Pine arrived and ran right over to us. Chris moved quickly,
having changed his autograph from saying "Chris Pine" to saying "CP.
Jesse asked for his full signature to which he signed "CP" and said
"There you go, buddy". Thanks Chris.

The beautiful Kate
Beckinsale also arrived at this point but everybody was so busy trying
to get Chris that nobody called for her. Maybe on the way out…
John Cho arrived next and came over to sign -- another person who moved quickly but seemed to go all the way down.
He was followed by Zoe Saldana who signed but seemed to skip quite a few people.

Karl Urban did the
same, signing but skipping chunks of the barricade. Luckily, we're
having pretty good luck with them hitting us all.

Alice Eve, who is new
to the movie, showed up next and signed just about anything anybody had
down the whole line. She was gracious and happy to do it!

More celebs showed up… Lea Thompson, Sarah Chalke, Fran Drescher, Catherine Bell, Judd Apatow, LeVar Burton, Ashley Williams… But we were too focused on the Star Trek people!
The last to arrive was
Zachary Quinto (Spock). He by far signed the least, only signing for
about ten people (Out of our group only one person got him).

After the film we
waited around to see if we'd have any luck and we surely did. Chris
Pine came walking out of the theatre right at us… quickly turning and
avoiding signing. This isn't a good omen. He was followed by… Whose
that? Ut oh, thats Tom Cruise. Tom just waved to everybody and didn't
sign. A friend of ours caught up to him and got close and Tom said "Sorry" he wasn't going to be signing tonight.
Zachary Quinto did the same, getting booed but he crowd which he laughed about and said "Oh no, they are mad at me!"
John Cho & Karl Urban signed a quick few but put the pens down before it got too out of hand.
True to form, JJ Abrams
came out and right over to the crowd and started signing. He was
joined by Kate Beckinsale who signed down the entire line! We have
great video of JJ and Kate running into each other while signing. We were able to get a few Kate Beckinsale's signed.
