The Walking Dead's Jon Bernthal: Nicest celebrity you'll have the pleasure of meeting!

I've had the opportunity to meet Jon Bernthal on a few occasions and there is one thing I can say about the man.  He is hands down the nicest man in Hollywood.  Guys like Jeffrey Dean Morgan & Matt Bomer are right up there but with Bernthal, everything just seems so personal.  He shakes your hand and looks you dead in the eye and introduces himself.  He remembers the moments he's shared with you despite the thousands of faces he sees regularly via conventions or out on the streets.  This guy genuinely looks forward to interacting with each and every fan and it makes your experiences with him mean that much more.

Flounder & Jon Bernthal. Pure happiness.

Last week I heard Jon was going to be out and it had been awhile since we'd seen him so we decided to head down.  Flounder came along with his Walking Dead drawing (previously signed by Andrew Lincoln & Norman Reedus) and was excited as can be to meet Shane Walsh himself.  After a little wait we looked up to see Jon come walking down the street towards us.  He stops and shakes each of our hands and asks our names and says he'll go inside and come back out in 5-10 minutes and sign our stuff. This is something you hear quite often in the autograph collecting but with Jon these words are not hollow.

5-10 minutes later out walked Jon and he began to sign for us.  We talked a little and joked around and he made Flounder's night by hooking him up with some cool autographs and a photo with. It was just another great experience to go with all the other ones I've had meeting him. Here are a few of my favorite items he signed for us.

Jon hooks Flounder up.

Finishing off one of my cast pieces.

Knockin' out some items for Edwin.

Minutes after we got back Flounder had his stuff framed.

His personal drawing signed by Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus & now, Jon Bernthal.

"He Fuckin' Shot me" inscription.  He, of course, referring to Chandler Riggs.

"Aim for the Head" inscription.

He finished off this 12x18

Finished off this 12x18.

...and this one, all personalized to me.  I'm not gonna' lie.  Wish the one in silver was to me :)

After it was all said and done he took pictures with us and shook each one of our hands and said thank you for coming out and called it a night.  Hands down one of the classiest, nicest guys around.  Do yourself a favor and support this man.  Check out Lost Angels when it comes out on TV.  Go to the theater and see Wolf of Wall Street. He deserves all the support. Thanks Jon.

Jon fell asleep on me but it's alright.
